Club Wyndham Fairfield Harbour

Very beautiful place in the wilderness. No stores close. The young lady at the desk was not friendly at all. Wanted to play ping pong and she gave me the ball and net, said I would have to set up table. Her boss came out and told her guess don't not set table up. She was really hot then. Would not answer any questions or nothing. I was invited by friends to the timeshare. With customer service like that I won't be back.

I am a club Wyndham owner. I almost canceled my reservation after I read these reviews. We showed up early and the people at the front desk were fantastic. Our room was not ready and we were provided with instructions how to use the facilities anyway. We did get into our room by 3:00 and it is fantastic. Everything is newly renovated and beautiful. We found all of the supplies we needed to last us the whole week. The location is a bit remote from the town but being on the golf course benefits us. We would certainly recommend this resort to anyone who is considering the New Bern area.

I stayed with family who reserved a unit under their timeshare company. We had an end unit, which was nice and gave us views of 2 bodies of water. The place was a roomy condo with 3 full-size or queen beds and a pullout couch, 2 full baths, and 1 half bath. There was a full kitchen, a separate room with a jacuzzi tub and a dining room, and a living room. The building was a bit dated, but it was quiet and clean. Most importantly, there was no mildew or moldy smell - just older building and older wood smells. There's a really nice check-in building and a lot of amenities and classes and activities, but we didn't have time to participate in any of those. The staff are great and everyone is friendly in the area. If you hang out by the water, there are dozens of painted turtles and some neat birds that come by. It was definitely a nice getaway for those without pups as part of the family as the drawback for me would be not being pet friendly if my husband and I were to vacation in New Bern in the future.

Rooms could be more updated. They do have everything you need in the kitchens. Lightening in bedrooms could be better, but they did have 2 lamps, just not actual overhead light. The outlets didn't all work in either Condo. More towels and wash rags would help. Staff were fantastic, great for families and older people. Not close to beach or anything fun we wanted to do. Never saw an alligator there, but we did see 2 beautiful bald eagles. They had an ice cream social ($3 each) while we were there, and the kids enjoyed the bikes ($3 each). They enjoyed fishing also. Ad a parent is was nice being able to feel safe for the big kids to walk around without a parent. The pools, sauna, etc was nice also.

Everything about our stay was great.... With the exception of the water having a vinegar smell to it. Very strange and I could deal with it but having an infant with us, having to clean bottles, etc. it was very strange. We have family local and there water was fine but this water was a little off. Aside from this, the activities, the rec center, the staff were all great. In short, bring your own water!

Beautiful & very peaceful. Nice for a winter break. Close to good food and beautiful sites. Short drive to see grands in Jacksonville and Raleigh. Only downside is stairs for our age but view made up for it and we could not bring our small fur baby.

Was concerned on the bad reviews. We stayed Thanksgiving week 2025 and had no complaints. This resort has 2 management's. Make sure to tell them you are a Wydham owner. We stayed at Windjammer ll and had a great experience with cleanliness, updated interior and loved the screened in porch. Definitely would stay here again.

The staff were friendly. The units were spacious and comfortable, also clean. The site is about 15 minutes away from the majority of things you want to do and see, such as Riverwalk. But it’s a beautiful location, close to the nature preserve,
